A wedding at Església Nova in Son Servera on Mallorca is truly something special. Vanessa and Greg chose this unique location for their ceremony and it could hardly have been more romantic.

Iglesia Nova is an unfinished neo-gothic church located in the town of Son Servera in the northeast of Mallorca. Due to financial difficulties the construction was never completed. Today only the impressive outer walls with their large windows and rosettes remain, while the roof was never built. Because of this the ceremony takes place inside the historic church walls but still under the open sky.

This extraordinary atmosphere makes Iglesia Nova one of the most unique wedding venues on Mallorca. Cultural events and concerts are often held here, but it is also a breathtaking setting for wedding ceremonies. The dramatic architecture, the warm Mediterranean light and the open sky above create an unforgettable experience not only for the couple but also for their guests.

After the ceremony everyone continued to a beautiful finca near Maria de la Salut where the wedding celebration took place. Surrounded by old trees and the quiet Mallorcan countryside the atmosphere was relaxed, elegant and full of emotion.

The bride wore a flowing A-line wedding dress combined with soft and natural make-up, while the groom chose a stylish and carefully selected outfit that perfectly matched the elegant atmosphere of the day.

On the day after the wedding we travelled to Cap Formentor, the northernmost point of Mallorca, for a romantic after-wedding photoshoot during sunset. The dramatic cliffs shaped by wind and sea over thousands of years create one of the most spectacular landscapes on the island.

The golden light of the evening, the view over the Mediterranean and the peaceful atmosphere made this location the perfect place to create timeless images that will remind the couple of their wedding on Mallorca for many years to come.
